In 2009 we established the Murray Weideman Past Player Welfare Fund.
The objective of this fund is to assist our past players who are in need of financial support for medical treatment.
Some of our past players have fallen on difficult times over the years and are still suffering from injuries and illnesses from their playing days.
We want our past players to receive the best possible medical treatment and not be delayed or restricted by finances.
Side by side we stick together
We are currently working with a number of our past players and their families to ease the financial burden of medical treatment. Treatment that they normally could not afford.
We ask you to let us know if you know of any of your team mates or other past players who need our support.
All our assistance is treated in strict confidence.
Thanks to the great support from Collingwood Football Club and our own sponsors and supporters we now have funds available ready to assist our fellow past players.
Please support our events & functions that assist in raising much needed funds for our past players.
Many players gave their heart & soul to our great club & we now have the opportunity to look after & support our own.
Please contact us if you know of a past player who needs us.
We sincerely thank our Welfare Fund Financial Members:
